Delicious Halloween Milkshake: Easy Recipe & Tips

We are officially smack dab in the middle of Halloween celebrations and in the depth of filling our lives with as many fall treats as possible. If you are looking for your next spooky sweet snack, you’ve came to the right post. This milkshake is so fun because it has a little taste of everything you could be craving this Halloween season. It’s full of chocolate marshmallow ice cream, chocolate chip cookie cough ice cream, candy bars, chocolate covered wafer bars, and so many festive sprinkles for celebrating the season! I know when people think of milkshakes they’ll think of a 50’s dinner or warm summer nights, but I often think of something a little different right off the bat. I can’t help but fill up my shakes with all different kind of snacks since the textures work great inside of a frosty, frozen treat! Being that I love tossing in so many different candies and munchies, the best time of year to create this treat is RIGHT NOW! What’s better than mixing candy in with cool crunchy ice cream during the Halloween season?! It’s the perfect week to do it too since we’ve had a bit of a heat wave come over us here in North East PA. I know I have readers from all over the world, therefore, we’re experiencing all different seasons of fall right now; which is another reason I enjoy sharing an iced cold beverage such as this one. If you’re still battling 80 or 90 degree weather most days, you’re not going to want to sip on scalding hot PSL’s all season long. That’s why I knew this was the perfect recipe to share! You are more than likely going to be whipping up my spook-tacular milkshake decked with whipped cream and candies galore!

I remember a few years back here on the blog, I shared an interestingly wonderful frappe with the flavor profile of this milkshake, which is of course where I got the idea from. I was thinking about it the other day and I thought “Deep Fried Diamonds definitely needs a milkshake version of that fantastic frozen coffee creation!” Speaking of coffee.. if you would like to add an espresso shot into this for an afternoon pick me up that would totally be your call! A delectable call at that! You could also pour in a shot or two of your favorite liquor depending on what mood you’re in! If it’s Friday night date night, or if you’re having a Halloween party and you’re making a huge batch of this for friends and family. No matter how you blend it, it’s going to be GOOD.

Let’s Blend Up This Spooky Shake!

  • Start with a good old blender.
  • Freeze your favorite milkshake glass while you shake up all of the ingredients.
  • Two scoops of chocolate marshmallow ice cream.
  • Two scoops of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
  • A few good splashes of milk of your choice. I love a thicker milkshake but you could use up to a cup of milk if need be.
  • 3 snack size KitKat bars.
  • 2 peanut butter cups.
  • As well as one for garnishing.
  • Whipped cream
  • Halloween/Fall themed sprinkles.
  • White chocolate drizzle.

Keep in mind:

  • You can create this shake to your liking and adjust anything you might need or want to. If you want to make this completely dairy free you can absolutely go ahead and use dairy free ice cream of your choice as well as plant based milk such as oat, almond, or cashew. Anything works really! They even have coconut whipped cream in stores to purchase, so if you’re lactose intolerant or just prefer to eat as plant based as possible you can still join in on the frozen Halloween treat fun!

Have A Happy Halloween!

xoxo
