What’s better than farms, festivals, and foliage during the fall season?
It’s understandable that some of you are most likely in the midst of decorating for the holiday season, but I wanted to hang onto autumn a bit longer. That for me, means sharing everything wonderful that I have done throughout the months of September and October. Even though we’re all planning our holiday bucket lists while we watch the last few golden leaves fall to the ground, I need you to jot down these fabulous fall activities that you need to have on your fall 2026 bucket list! It is NEVER to earlier to plan for your favorite season of all! A genuine fall lover wishes it could be fall all year round. We want to have a hot cup of coffee in hand with our oversized cable knit Rory Gilmore sweaters on, placed in our old wooden rocking chairs sat our perfectly decorated porch; while we watch those first few leaves change into the most magical looking autumn rainbow you’ve ever laid your eyes upon. Those feelings of warm, yet chilly nostalgic moments can never be duplicated with any other season. Christmas is wonderful, heartfelt, and cheerful for those who love it, but for people who don’t have those loud, crazy kid filled houses with 20 family members crowded around the dinning room table every December 24th getting ready for Santa to arrive when their head hits the pillow; October will always be their chosen holiday. It’s the season of movies, foliage filled walks, comfort food at its finest, the greatest fashion of all time, and fantastic coffee flavors to sip until Thanksgiving night comes to a close. Now, I know I’m making you miss a season that hasn’t even official ended yet. However, since social media has forced us to hurry the next holiday along, let me help you escape that for a moment while I walk you through your entire fall plans for next year’s autumnal season!
The first project is always to photograph everything, even your themed socks and comfortable shoe choice!

- 1.) Capturing moments in your life is so important. Take all of the photos you can! You’ll forever want to look back on places you’ve been, food you were just about to enjoy, beverages that were almost too beautiful to drink, things you’ve seen, and of course, outfits you put together with extreme care and creative knowledge. SO, Diamonds, if you didn’t take the photos that you should have this year, prepare yourselves for next year!
Visit as many cafes & bakeries for breakfast and brunch as you can!

- 2.) Stopping at coffee shops, diners, and bistros for the best fall eats to enjoy those comforting meal moments on the weekends, or in your free time from work is a necessary activity. It’s a necessary activity within every season of life. However, I do believe it is the most necessary during the fall season.
Sip & Treat your way through cozy season!

- 3.) Enjoying the best hot and iced lattes of the season are an absolute no brainer and a non negotiable! If your significant other isn’t a coffee lover, then there is always a creamy, delectable hot chocolate or of course, a chai to choose from!
- 4.) Diving into the sweetest and fluffiest cinnamon bun with tangy cream cheese icing is a moment during the season that is so memorable and cherish-able, as well as enjoying the best ice cream flavors known to man.
Farmers markets & Apple Orchards:

- 5.) Pet and feed the farm animals! It is honestly one of the most wholesome ad therapeutic fall activities you could partake in.
- 6.) Go apple picking! If you don’t want to pick your own apples, you can grab a bag full of your favorites and bake something magnificent with them! You can even make apple nachos for a movie day snack!
- 7.) Pick pumpkins and never leave the farm without Indian corn! The squirrels love it! It’s the funniest thing to watch them eat it right off the cob!
- 8.) Always visit the snack station or food trucks at the farm. It’s snacks time, all the time when you’re at the pumpkin patch!
Kickoff the fall season with the Bloomsburg fair!

9.) Going to the fair is the main activity! Nevertheless, there are many activities to indulge in once you’re present inside the fair! Getting a coffee from Mr. Sticky’s, munching on a gyro with cucumbers and feta, and leaving with a pound of the best fudge from the last 50 years!
Change your hair color to your dream fall shade!

- 10.) I feel like my fall is never complete unless my hair totally matches the season! This year I went for a bright copper shade with blonde high lights to give the most perfect dimension!
Dinner dates overlooking the fall foliage!

- 11.) Some dinner dates are fancy and some aren’t. Some are comforting and some are to cure cravings. This specific dinner date with my mother, was to indulge in some delectable eats and views overlooking the Valley of my hometown. It’s a must in autumn to have dinner while you stare at the most stunning view you could lay your eyes upon all year!
Check into your favorite hotel for a chic autumnal getaway!
- 12.) My mom and I spent a few nights away at The Hotel Hershey in celebration of her 65th birthday. You can also stay overnight at a camp ground or in a cabin if you were wishing for a more off the grid type of vacation. We, however are most definitely hotel gals! As you can see when sliding through these photos, our view was everything and more!
Visit the Spa, eateries, a luxurious lounge, and use the amenities when you go on your getaway!
- 13.) After booking our stay at The Hotel Hershey, it was a must for me to make sure I had our entire trip prepped and planned! That is half the fun of going on a getaway in the first place! We had amazing food and got perfectly pampered as one should when they are spending a certain amount of money!
Capture the memories with your loved ones when you’re around scenic views!

- 14.) Taking pictures when you visit places in the autumn with your mom or loved one of any kind must be at the top of your list! It’s very important to make memories, and maybe even more important to capture them so that you have them to look back on forever and a day.
Visit a botanical garden!

- 15.) When in Hershey, you must visit the Hershey gardens, especially in the fall! There are magnificent mums and pumpkin palooza’s to admire ! It is definitely an experience you’ll want to stroll around in.
Halloween movie nights with magnificent food boards!

- 16.) When in doubt on an autumn night, have a movie marathon! Enjoy your favorite, nostalgic thrillers with mini bites to pick on while you veg out in the living room for hours until you can’t bare to keep your eyes opened anymore!
- 17.) You can also order take out or get your favorite dinner delivered to your door while you start your film. Although, there is nothing quite like an October night with a board or platter filled with fun snacks, appetizers, cut up pizza or even sliced sandwiches! The options are truly endless. This is a great idea if your teenagers are throwing their first ever Halloween party, or if they’re planning to pull a horror packed all nighter!
- 18.) Set the scene! You have to have the lights dimmed, the decorations decking the halls in your house (in a spooky way, of course), and the candles lit!
Fall beverages are the best!

19.) Grab an autumnal beverage when you’re out and about on the weekends regardless if you’re traveling alone, with your significant other, or your girls! You all deserve something sensational to sip on.
Create a charcuterie board to celebrate this season!

20.) This board in particular was made for an order for clients birthday they were celebrating. You do not need to celebrate anything special to enjoy something so magical! If you get invited to a gathering, or party during the season, you need to bring a board like this! You will definitely be the talk of the night!
