In my last post I shared with you Diamonds a recent wedding that I catered, filled with charcuterie boards that decorated an entire table from left to right, and front to back with everything you could ever dream of. Today, I am letting you in on the smaller and more intimate seasonal boards that I build for all different occasions. I had two board orders this past month and a 1/2 pan of buffalo chicken pasta besides the wedding on the 2nd.

This one was a farewell gift for a wonderful woman. The theme I came up with was “Saying farewell in the Fall”.

The ingredients on this board had to be bold, beautiful, and brilliant! Just like the lady it was for.
- Maple leaf creme sandwich cookies. (My absolute favorite in the fall season!)
- Fresh mozzarella cheese.
- Salami, three different ways- Plain, herbed, and peppered.
- Cajun cheddar cheese curds.
- White cheddar stuffed olives. (I love stuffed olives all of kinds, but these have definitely been my favorite of them all.)
- Rye bread.
- Double smoked cheddar cheese.
- Pumpkin yogurt covered pretzels. These are super yummy! If you love white chocolate flavored things you’ll love these since the flavor is pretty identical.
- Sea salt flavored pita chips. Pita chips are the best! They have an ultimate crunch factor.
- Garden vegetable cheddar cheese.
- Chocolate pumpkin truffles.
Garnishes- fresh kale and fresh rosemary brighten everything up and it just finishes the whole board beautifully.

This one was for a baby shower. The theme I came up with was “Jungle Animals” since I wanted it to give off gender neutral vibes because they didn’t want to know if they were having a boy or girl until the due date.

Ingredients I used to build this baby shower board:
- Red grapes. My favorite! You can’t have a charcuterie board without grapes.
- BOLD seasoned pretzels.
- Baby carrots.
- Celery sticks.
- Turtle cheese crackers.
- Animal crackers.
- Spicy pepperoni bites.
- Dried apricots.
- Sharp white cheddar.
- Mild cheddar.
- Sea salt & honey cheddar cheese.
- Mini salami sticks.
Garnishes- fresh kale, and fresh parsley for a little bit of a jungle vibe.

These boards are the same in so many ways, but also different in a thousand other ways and that’s what I love so much about building charcuterie boards. They’re all the same concept and the same technique, but one will never ever the look the same as the next. They will always be sisters, but never twins. Kind of like your eyebrows 😉 LOL.
