13 Steps To Take In Cultivating The Most Stunning Spring Season Of Your Dreams:

Spring is just like Fall, except it’s the opposite. Everything that’s fabulous about fall, is everything that is stunning about spring! Hear me out- the weather changes so much that we feel it in our bones, to our absolute core, right? During the season of Fall; we’re looking forward to cooling off and saying goodbye to humid hair and sticky skin when having to bear the blazing heat of the Summer. When the season of Spring begins, we have those same exact experiences; flipped upside down. If you ever watched Stranger Things, you understand the exact analogy I am trying to conduct for you Diamonds. Two totally different seasons or situations that are the same, but different. If you think about it, that can be said about so many things in this life. More than you even wonder about, or ever consider. Look at us as humans! We are all the same, but we are all so very different. It’s to be celebrated though! Just as the Spring season is, and I am here to show just how wonderful celebrating all the special parts of Spring can truly be!

Let’s start with the first step! My first step, ALWAYS. SPRING CLEANING!

If you know me personally, you know that I am constantly cleaning and organizing. I love it. I strive the have the cleanest and most aesthetic home that I possibly can. I enjoy making my space feel calm, yet themed into whatever season is being celebrated at that moment. In this case- it’s spring, so we want everything to be airy, colorful, and quaint. A clean space is a happy space and it leaves you with the clearest mind you could ever imagine. Spring cleaning is the time to purge out closets, go through drawers, and chuck away anything that is broken, old, or that purely no longer brings you joy.

Once the cleaning has been concluded, we must follow up with SPRING DECOR SHOPPING

The best Spring decorations are spotted inside the most stunning, yet antique shoppes. Boutiques are an absolute must in my book! There is always at least one on the agenda every single weekend through the season. However, the first visit is the biggest. It’s the most important of all visits. As soon as you step into that freshly polished, and perfectly curated boutique when the weather breaks and we’re all getting ready for the bunny to make a pit stop at our homes, it’s game over!

My beautiful basket is filled to the absolute MAX and in return, so is my heart!

I picked up new, colorful, fun picture frames to touch up the walls, to add even more touches of greenery into the garden room and corners where there may be lacking some springiness, and textured decorations to finish up the spaces where I see fit. My Easter/spring decor in my home came out so perfect in my eyes that I almost don’t want to take it down, but I know that it’s time! Since tomorrow is going to be chilly and a wash out for the entire day, that will be my main focus; beginning as soon as I get home from Saturday morning brunch at Sugar & Loaf! If you live in NEPA and have not visited the cafe yet, please do yourself a favor and go! It reminds you of a warm cabin in the fields that serves up homemade pastries, breakfast plates, salads to introduce the produce of the season, and sandwiches that illuminate the senses!

Speaking of Sugar & Loaf and other beautiful brunch spots!

Hearing the words breakfast, brunch, and lunch is music to my ears! Attending either of those is even better to enjoy. A symphony in your stomach. I’d rather eat breakfast than dinner. I’d rather eat breakfast for dinner. Unless, perhaps you were serving sushi or a really high quality steak; then breakfast it is! Brunch though is the absolute queen of them all because it takes the two greatest meals of all time and morphs them into one unanimous, outrageously delicious activity.

SHOPPING FOR SPRING FASHION:

This is an absolute NO BRAINER! If you know me, you know this is first on my bucket list every. single. time. For every single season, baby! Yes, I in fact did pick up this piece that you are viewing below. I could not reset how dainty it was for this time of year. The colors and textures were indeed ideal. It was the perfect transition piece!

SPRING SPA VISITS!

I visit the spa all year round! Monthly pedicures are a non-negotiable for me and I do not care if it’s 10 degrees out with 8 inches of snow on the ground. My feet must be manicured and groomed. Taking care of myself and how I present myself to the world is extremely important to me. I look at it as how you show up in public is exactly how you view yourself and how others will view you. I don’t just mean makeup and dressed to the nines, as we all know I’m 100% all for! I’m talking about having clean hair, looking polished and put together, while smelling phenomenal even if you are in a sweat outfit. You never know who you are going to meet, or what opportunity can come your way. The way you appear can change everything. It can change your life!

Stopping at book stores for some light, Spring reads:

There is truly nothing like being dressed up and having a few hours before your dinner reservations, so you take that opportunity to meander around your favorite bookstore with a sweet seasonal latte in hand. No one is bothering you, time is of the essence, and you just get to stroll over to the coffee shop that sits inside said bookstore to spread out your books, flipping through them to decide which one you want to begin before it’s time to head out for the evening!

DINNER AND A STROLL.

When the onion snow falls from the sky, the ground turns warm, and the trees begin to grow back their lively colors, there is certainly nothing like an afternoon trot around the garden before heading out to dinner. Breweries and farmhouse grills are perfect places to celebrate the meaning of the season when planning on heading out. Being that it is Friday night, maybe you Diamonds were already amongst these amazing establishments tonight!

Celebrating Easter in the Springtime!

As we are all fully aware, Easter has been over for a few weeks now, but it is a holiday that I very much adore and has always been something I hold very near and dear to my heart. It was my grandmother’s favorite holiday. It was her favorite meal and to give her full credit, I completely understand why. I keep some of the traditions I experienced growing up, but since I held a brunch this Easter instead of a dinner, you Diamonds know I had to change it up. I always do, don’t I?!

My Easter Brunch was beautiful. My table scape was exactly what I had imagined. I am so happy that I invested in a tier serving platter because giving height and layers to the table was exactly what the atmosphere was begging for. At the very bottom of the tier I broke up six plain, blueberry, garlic, onion, and jalapeño cheddar bagels from my local bagel shop that is extremely popular in my area. Aside from the bagels, I have Paska bread stacked for sandwiching or buttering on top of your holiday plate! On the middle tier, I have cheese and apple danishes for a sweet bite in between the salty. Then, on the very top tier, I have homemade creamy, yet crunchy peanut butter eggs that my mom has always put puffed rice cereal in, and some maple sugar cookies in the shape of bunnies because, duh! Lastly, to go along with the bagels and the bread, I put together a perfect little lox and kielbasa charcuterie to build the best brunch bites that you absolutely can!

DECORATE YOUR OFFICE AND WORK AREA:

  • If you really let the fact of the matter sink in: we spend more time at work than we do anywhere else. Well, until we retire or are fortunate enough to be able to live out our dream everyday instead of working, so decorating your space to add some pops of Springtime would really liven your space up. It’s nice to walk into work everyday and see my decorations that celebrate the season we are currently in. It immediately puts you in a positive mood!

BUILD & EXCHANGE EASTER BASKETS!

Yes, yes! I know I still get an Easter basket, BUT we all do! The entire house does. My mom is incredible that way. She’s always been the best gift giver. It’s actually insane. I was very blessed to grow up in the house I did; with the parents I did, and now I return all of the favors. I make my mom the basket that she never got when she really should have! She deserves it! My family spoils me, and I spoil them as well. Plus, basket building is seriously way too joyful to miss out on!

Spring into stunning crafts, especially edible ones!

On Valentine’s Day weekend, my good friend Chelsea and I got together to make chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate GALentine’s with one another, and we had such an amazing time! Since they turned out so insanely pretty and it was such a peaceful experience, we decided that we needed to make batches of them for both of our Easter brunches. After the second experience, we made a pact that we would make cute and colorful chocolate covered strawberries for the foreseeable future to ring in every new season, or to celebrate an upcoming holiday! Then, on my own I decided to make candied marshmallows which were the easiest things ever! All you do is dip 1/2 of the marshmallow into water, or the entire thing if you’re choosing to be daring. Then, dip, dunk, and decorate each one with dyed sugar and colored sprinkles. It’s so simple, even the kids should get involved in this one. They’re so yummy and perfect to give away in little goodie bags to your closest friends, or neighbors as a little “I’m thinking of you” treat!

RED , WHITE, AND BLUE will be next!

PICK YOUR OWN TULIPS

My hometown had what they called a “Tulip Takeover” a two Saturday’s ago. It was the nicest little festival my city has ever thrown! It was a gorgeous day with breathtaking, colorful flowers everywhere. You were allowed for free to pick ten tulips per person, take pictures, and walk around freely as much as you wanted for however long. There was music bumping, families enjoying their time together, food trucks all around to get a yummy lunch at, and a coffee truck where my mom and I enjoyed the most delicious blueberry joy latte. Every time the sun is out I crave an iced coffee, and my mom chose to order hers hot. We both loved it so much!

I am enjoying Spring SO MUCH and I hope you Diamonds are too! If you haven’t gotten the chance to really dive into the season yet, it is most certainly not too late! This post gives you so many ideas and creative options to embark in, and I truly hope you all will!

Celebrate Spring, and I will see you all shortly!
