If you Diamonds are looking for a New Years Eve appetizer, look no further! These creamy, cheesy, and savory hand held beauties are absolutely a winner. They are everything you want when it comes to ringing in the New Year! Ever since I was little I always remember salami and cream cheese being one of my most treasured combinations. It works wonders stacked on a bagel or simply just eating alone together; but bake them side by side on top of a buttery puff pastry and you’ve just won the golden metal for being the best entertainer out there! Not only are these insanely yummy, but they are truly the easiest things to put together!! Make sure to bake a lot of these Diamonds because they will disappear in the blink of an eye. 😉
Four Easy Steps For Making These Savory Puff Pastries:
- Break off four small cold pieces of cream cheese on each circle of puff pastry dough, then sprinkle paprika on top for a smokey flare.
- Small dice four-five pieces of salami and put a small handful on each pastry.
- Sprinkle each puff with some mozzarella, and some cheddar cheese to add even more cheesy goodness on to each one.
- Squeeze a dollop of your favorite ranch dressing on top of all of the puff parties along with fresh cracked black pepper, dried dill, and dried parsley leaves.
See Diamonds.. I told you it was that easy!
Once all of the puffs are assembled, place them in the oven at 425 degrees for 18-20 minutes depending how crispy you would like the top to be.
When they come out of the oven.. let them sit for a good ten minutes before enjoying. You want the puff pastry to set up nicely so that they don’t break apart when you take your first big bite! Trust me, it will be worth the wait!
In the future when you have huge get togethers with those you haven’t seen in forever.. come back to this recipe and triple it! People will definitely go nuts for these babies every single time! They will be sure to be the biggest hit at every holiday bash, birthday party, and girls night in!
Your new favorite appetizer! 😉
