How To Doctor Up Your Average Boxed Pancake Mix.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Pancakes!

These pancakes are filled with peanut buttery deliciousness, along with ooey gooey chocolate chips, and an entire chopped up banana. The banana makes this pancake mix insanely moist and gives them an awesome texture! Your family, friends, and especially kids will love these pancakes so much! The best part about these chocolate, peanut butter and banana pancakes is that they are super simple to make because they contain boxed pancake mix. You don’t always have to make something from scratch for it to feel and taste like it’s homemade! When you add ingredients that you absolutely adore into things that you already bought, you’re only bound to like it more! I think that will always be something extremely fun to do in the kitchen. Plus it will save you time, money, and ingredients when you’re planning for a party or event!

Ingredients you’ll have to add into the mix after adding the appropriate amount of water for the exact amount of pancakes you will need to feed your loved ones. I usually figure 2-3 pancakes a person especially if you’re going to be serving other things with it.

  • One large banana ripened and ripped up into tiny, bite sized pieces and thrown into the batter.
  • One tablespoon of melted peanut butter drizzled in.
  • One handful of milk chocolate chips.

Mix the batter so that everything is incorporated and get ready to cook on a griddle, flat top, or an appropriate pan.

You can either grease the pan or griddle with butter, or non stick butter spray. Then ladle the pancake mix onto the skillet and allow them to cook for 2-3 minutes on the first side. When bubbles start to form and you’re seeing that the bottom is becoming golden you can flip, and cook for another minute.

  • You know the pancakes are going to be delicious when you can see the chunks of chocolate, the pieces of bananas throughout, and the scrumptious speckles of peanut butter all wrapped together.

Pile the pancakes high on a decorative plate/platter and top with pads of butter, some syrup, more melted peanut butter, and a few chocolate chips to finish it all off.

I served these incredible dessert like pancakes with a few fluffy, cheesy eggs! I always enjoy eating something savory when I am indulging in something sweet.
