Nashville Hot Chicken Crackers!

You might be familiar with the ever popular “crack-tastic” crackers covered in ranch seasoning, garlic, herbs, and crushed red pepper which are obviously super addicting; hense the name, and so are these! These are super savory, spicy, and seriously satisfying. They’re the perfect poolside snack or to use a vessel for a chilled cheese dip, or even a buffalo chicken dip to enhance the hot chicken flavor. To amp these up a little bit more you can add another layer of flavor by drizzling some honey over them just as you would dress up a piece of crispy fried chicken. I’ve always adored that sweet and spicy combo, especially when it comes to snacks!

The Nashville hot chicken butter:

  • 1/2 stick of salted butter
  • 2 tablespoons of Nashville hot chicken seasoning. If you’re unable to find it in your local supermarket then you can definitely go ahead and order it online.
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper depending your spice tolerance.
  • Sea salt & freshly cracked black pepper to taste.

Whisk this deliciousness all together and let it cool on the stove for a few minutes.

Pour the slightly cooled butter mixture into a zip lock bag filled with two sleeves of butter crackers. Shake well until everything is evenly coated with all of that wonderful seasoning.

After plating the crackers however you would like you can season them with a pinch more of the Nashville hot seasoning to “garnish”.

This snack is best served at any occasion next to a bunch of bowls filled with different kind of salads, salsas and dips so that you are able to experiment, and mix and match flavors! This recipe couldn’t be faster or get any easier, so what are you doing still here on my site?! GO MAKE THESE DIAMONDS!

If you recreate these you have to tag me on Instagram @therealdeepfrieddiamonds ! I’d love to see what you made them for and what you’re pairing them with!
